Elise Christie is one of the best speed skating athlete from United Kingdom . She recently become new European Short Track Speed Skating Champion at Sochi 2016 in 1500 meter and 500 meter . In 2014 , she won the sliver-medal in World Short Track Speed Skating Championships . Later a year after that Christie participated in (2015 Moscow) and won the sliver medal World Championship once again in 500 meter. So far in her career she won eight gold medals in European track speed skating.
