He won the gold medal in the Moscow 2015 World Championship . Elistratov highest ranking in the world is number (4th) in 1500 meter . He won seven gold medals in the European events such as (2013 Malmö , 2014 Dresden , 2015 Dordrecht and 2016 Sochi). Recently in 2016 , in Russia he won European Short Track Speed Skating Championships in men's category.
